By accessing our website, creating an account, requesting a quote, submitting an order, or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.
1. ABOUT WORKPIECE
WORKPIECE is an e-commerce retailer of professional equipment and related products for workshops, businesses, and production environments.
Certain products may be supplied, fulfilled, shipped, serviced, or supported by the applicable manufacturer, distributor, or authorized fulfillment partner.
Product-specific fulfillment, warranty, availability, freight, installation, support, and return terms may vary by manufacturer and product.

4. ORDERS

8. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

WORKPIECE is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, freight providers, manufacturers, distributors, weather, customs, events outside our reasonable control, or circumstances occurring after shipment.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and appropriate contact information.
For freight shipments, the customer may be responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and capable of receiving the equipment.
Additional services such as liftgate delivery, residential delivery, limited-access delivery, inside delivery, appointment delivery, rigging, unloading, installation, or placement are not included unless specifically stated.

9. FREIGHT INSPECTION AND SHIPPING DAMAGE
Customers receiving freight or large equipment should inspect the shipment and packaging at delivery whenever reasonably possible.
Visible damage, missing items, or packaging damage should be documented and reported promptly.
Where appropriate, damage should also be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing.
Failure to document visible freight damage at delivery may affect the ability to pursue a carrier or supplier damage claim.
Customers should retain packaging and documentation until any shipping-damage issue has been resolved.
10. RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
Return eligibility varies by product and may depend on manufacturer or distributor policies.
Certain products may be:
- final sale;
- special order;
- configured to order;
- subject to restocking fees;
- subject to return-shipping charges; or
- otherwise restricted from return.
Do not return equipment without receiving the required return authorization and instructions.
Orders that have already entered processing, production, supplier fulfillment, or freight shipment may not be cancellable.

11. WARRANTIES
Manufacturer warranties vary by product.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, WORKPIECE does not create or extend a separate product warranty beyond any applicable manufacturer warranty.

Customers may be required to provide serial numbers, photographs, diagnostic information, proof of purchase, or other information to obtain warranty assistance.
Warranty coverage generally does not include damage resulting from misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modification, incorrect electrical service, improper maintenance, consumable wear, accident, or other excluded conditions identified by the manufacturer.

12. INSTALLATION, ELECTRICAL, VENTILATION, SAFETY, AND FACILITY REQUIREMENTS

Professional equipment should be installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable laws, regulations, codes, and safety requirements.
13. LASER AND INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT
Laser, CNC, fabrication, woodworking, sanding, finishing, cleaning, and similar equipment can present significant operational hazards.
Customers are responsible for appropriate training, supervision, personal protective equipment, ventilation, fire prevention, guarding, facility preparation, and safe operation.
Nothing on this website should be treated as a substitute for the manufacturer’s operating manual, safety instructions, training, or qualified professional guidance.
14. COMMERCIAL QUOTES AND PROJECT ORDERS
Commercial quotes may include terms specific to the quoted equipment, configuration, quantity, freight arrangement, payment schedule, lead time, or project.
Where a written quote, invoice, purchase agreement, or other order-specific document conflicts with these general Terms, the more specific written terms applicable to that transaction will control.
15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise indicated, the WORKPIECE name, branding, site design, original written content, graphics, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Workpiece Equipment LLC and may not be reproduced or used without permission.
Manufacturer trademarks, logos, product names, photographs, specifications, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.
16. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
Our website may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, manufacturers, financing providers, payment processors, carriers, or other parties.
We are not responsible for the independent websites, services, policies, or practices of third parties.
Use of a third-party service may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
